    Chewing twigs

Ta, it's very hard to keep kitties from chewing. Holly is poisonous, get it out of his reach, better yet get rid of it and any other poisonous plants you may have. Here is a web site that will help you know what plants are dangerious. http://www.cfainc.org/articles/plants.html Lin

    Possible Pregnant Stray...

If you can, try shutting her in the garage for the night with Dukes carrier, food, water and a litter box. Put an old blanket in the carrier and one over it for warmth. I did this with my last stray for long enough to get her to the vet. Do not expose her to your other cat(s) until after she is...

    Outside Cat...HELP!!!

I suggest calling animal control in your area, tell them the situation and ask them what your options are. In our area, cats are concidered free soals, if they choose to move to the neighbors it's their right to do so. Cats simply do not leave their homes unless they are unhappy for some...

    Cataracts operation?

Hi Mike, None of my furkids have experienced cateract surgery. I understand they have come a long way with it in animals with remarkable results. It is, however, rather expensive. You must see a vet opthamologist, there is no way I would trust a regular vet to do this specialized surgery. In...

The other day when I plugged in the Christmas tree, none of the lights came on. Upon inspection I found...

    Success story

She came to us in August. A walking skeleton. Her coat was filthy, sparse, and coarse. She was so loaded with fleas she was anemic. Her outside ear flaps were raw. All she wanted was a hand out. We couldnâ€8482t turn our backs on her so we fed her. We had no business adopting another furkid at...

    Stella was spayed yesterday

You're not a bad mom. Shuting her in the bathroom was likely the best idea. Keep her confined for a few days with easy access to food, water, a confortable place to sleep, and a litter box. She may not like it but it's the best thing for her. Lin

Oh, hunny, I'm sooo sorry. It's hard to loose a beloved pet especially since you can't be there. Please, please do not feel guilty. Trying to hide a pet from a landload rarely wooks. (((((Hugs))))) Lin
