Did you know in pet catalogues they sell a sack you put the cat in that has fasteners so the cat can't move or get out of? They are used when you're in need of restraining your cat. If you're interested I'll try to find the catalogue.

My vet isn't concerned about my cat's spots either. He said orange colored cats seem to get it more than other cats.

Here I am again with another question. When the nail covers are applied to the cat's claws, can he still retract his claws? Won't it hurt when he tries to retract them?

My sister's cat was given tranquilizers because she would pull the hair off of her tail. Pet stores sell a calming spray that I think is called Feliway. It's too bad you can't take your cat to a vet because I would think there is something a vet could do to help you. Good luck.
