I have the SAME problem. We adopted an 11yr old almost 4 weeks ago. The first couple of weeks he was fine, but for the last week he just walks around meowing for attention. If you go to pet him he runs away or will only sit for a minute.
My poor husband has only been getting two hours sleep...
