With Raleigh vomiting so many times today, I tried to think of something she may have eaten... the only thing I can think of, since she's an indoor cat and when she does go outside, she stays on the porch, is catnip.
A few days ago my husband took a fuzzy toy and put it in a bag of catnip and...
I have no medical advice, but I just wanted to say I hope Bug gets to feeling better. I'm dealing with a sick kitty right now too, and it's definitely no fun. Glad to hear Bug is keeping the food down so far!
A bit of good news.. this morning when my alarm clock went off, Raleigh jumped into bed and wanted petting, just like always... She was also eating when I left for work. I came home to a few small piles of vomit, which looks like it's mostly food. She has an appointment to go see the vet...
I came home today and my kitten greeted me at the door. Normally my older cat, Raleigh (she turned 2 today) comes right behind her, wanting my attention. Today, she didn't.. I called for her, and she still didn't come. I found her laying right inside our bedroom door. I stroked her head, but she...
She is only scratching on one side of it, a friend of mine wifes told her that there is a spray you can spray on the couch and the cats hate it and will stay away..
Anyone heard of anything like this?
My wife cannot remember the name.. Something with "off" in the title..
Thanks
Jeff
Well..
I just thought I'd show you guys a quick picture..
We have had the cats together for a little over 2 weeks..
Here is day 1.. Raleigh on the left.. Pogue on the right.. Raleigh is none too happy..

I just took this pic...
My wife and I saw these tonight in PetCo and thought immediately about the rubbermaid tubs..
We also got a floormat for a car/truck to use as a "litter catcher"..
Well guys..
We have had Pogue for a week, I think.. Close to it +/-..
Her and Raleigh have already become great friends..
They are getting along fine..
We have a laser pointer we used to play with Raleigh before we got Pogue, well I started using the pointer to try and make them interact...
Any of you guys have cats that will fetch?
Raleigh loves to fetch.. We throw my wife's elastic pony tail holders for her and she will go get them and bring them back..
She wakes me up all the time jumping up in the bed, putting her cold nose on mine and laying the pony tail holder next to me..
Well, I didn't want to keep cluttering up the other thread with the "updates" on how these two were doing..
They were drinking out of the same water bowl, that the same time, this morning..
Hissing from Raleigh is very minimal now..
Ok, well.. I think I may have gotten lucky, no thanks to my impatience..
We introduced Raleigh and Pogue after about 2 days of seperation..
I think we had several positive things happen yesterday.. First, I let Pogue out and she was on the couch with me, well I got up and came back, Pogue...
Ok guys..
I love my new kitty and I love my wife's cat too, however, I don't want Pogue sleeping near my face, I am not alergic to cats, but if I am that close with one for a while - I get a lil' stuffy.. So maybe I am mildly alergic, but it's only when they are trying to get in my mouth...
Pogue and Ral have been out in the house together all after noon..
I would guess that Ral has hissed at Pogue maybe 10 times.. I think this is going to work.. Ral is back to acting like herself.. Pogue is a happy little kitty..
So far, it's going ok..
Ok, Raleigh isn't anything like that.. She just doesn't like to be touched and ALWAYS runs away from me, like I'm chasing her.. Anytime I try and pet her she paws at me, but doesn't really scratch me.. She hisses at EVERYTHING all the time.. I mean, she hisses at the craziest things.. However...
