I have a 2 year old female cat (Layla), fixed, and she had been living with me since October. I moved back home yesterday, returning back to where she lived for a year and a half. At home, there are two other female cats, both fixed, about 9 years old- they are giving Layla space, but unhappy...
Hi all,
My cat will be a year old in few months. When she purrs, she gets this bubbly sound. It only happens when she lays a certain way and she seems to swallow her saliva more when it happens- it seems as if it might be harder for her to take a normal breath as well when she has these...
Hi, this kitten is about 6 weeks old and was abandoned by its mother (we live on a farm).
I took it and started feeding it 2 weeks ago. Since then we've taken in another kitten to take care of who is doing just great. No problems with the other one.
Back to my kitten-of-concern, Blue... she is...
So today 3 of the 4 kittens died. They seemed fine this morning- I think she smothered the two of them and the third one just wasn't being fed, I believe. I tried helping the third but it didn't do any good.
Hopefully, this last living kitten will stick it out. He's nursing, anyway. The mom...
I was able to do what you said about half an hour after I first posted.. I'm glad I did the right thing--
I continued to put her back with her babies and she ended up moving all four of them to a different spot- she didn't want to at first, but did with some coaxing.
I had to lay next to her...
She gave birth this morning (her first time)- and they have not been cleaned at all-- it has been 4 or 5 hours. She hasn't even eaten the afterbirth. She won't even be near them, when I walk over to where they are with her, she just starts to growl and wants to be pet.
What should I do with...
i live on a farm.. and they may have sprayed-- but i'm not sure.
he's an outdoor cat
i think he may have some sort of mouth problem.. like an infection. it looks like it. and also-- his cheek is kind of swollen. we had another outdoor cat that had like that swollen cheek, and it was full of...
he just acts the complete opposite of what he usually does.. he acts like he's sick... usually he's in a pretty good mood, but today he's all--- sad and tired
we did call, but they only gave us prices, so i decided to come on here and ask
the smell is really sickly.. it's disgusting..

my cat, baby boy, he's been acting really weird lately.. he's been like drooling out his mouth in excess amounts... and plus he acts like he's sick.
the thing is-- the emergency room- which is 45 minutes away-- will cost us $100 plus medicine.. or i can wait till monday and have it cost...
Everytime I put my finger to their nose for a kiss, a shock comes and even when I pet them, my hand raises their hair. How do I get rid of all this electricity? They stay away from my hand a lot now...
How do I get rid of this?
baby does use her litter box though... she knows where it is.. but ever since gray peed in the register the one time.. it's starting a whole mess of things. they sure are territorial
one night our one cat, gray, snuck into the house and stayed during the night. she has a terrible habit of peeing in our floor register of our living room. it smells terrible and we can't get the smell out. but now, because gray did this, our house cat, baby, is now peeing in the register...
If you want your cat to go out I think that you should go out with her for little walks and eventually build up. I live on a farm and we have 15 cats outside, 1 indoor cat. Our indoor cat, Baby, just dies to go outside. She loves to go out with her, literally, 15 relatives , and play! We...
have you guys ever had your cats butt heads with you? what does this mean? i heard it's like... a sign of respect, right? just wondering
I sure love my kitties! hehe
I went outside and walked with our outdoor cats. They enjoy it everytime I do it. This one cat I have, I was petting her and she was being extremely affectionate as usual, but then I continued to walk and she like.. jumped up off the side of my thigh! I've never seen behavior like this from...
