I thank you for your reply. It is going to be extremely hard to separate them as they are approaching 2 months old and are entirely mobile. If they were small I would take the advice of the site you gave me and put them in a container with partitions. This is not possible at this stage. My vet...
I sure hope this is the right place to put this.
Hi all! It's the crazy cat lady from Brazil with 5 new additions that we got dropped off by our gate. Back story: In a little box outside our gate were 4 little kittens that we estimate weren't more than a month old. This was Dec. 1. They are...
Well, enzyme cleaners are a little tough to come by down here in Brazil. Also the additive for the litter. Even the most stocked pet shop doesn't have much in that way. I love my new country, just sometimes it could stand to get with the times.
Any household suggestions for me to give a try...
OK, so it's been a while since I've been here, but I thought that maybe you'd all be able to help me as you all do so well.
Gizmo, one of Quindim's kittens just doesn't get the pooping in the box idea. Her 2 brothers do, the 2 strays we've taken in do, but she prefers to do it by the door or...
YVW! And you really should try it. It's so tasty. I love that site. It gives all kinds of reviews and beer tips. I'm a fan of porters and stouts, myself. Though we do have a beer down here called Malzbier. It's very sweet and tastes so good. Great for the hot Brazilian nights on a random patio.
Oh how I miss that beer!!! There is this Import place downtown, but I don't know that they have it. If they do, it's probably massively expensive. Next time you get them, have one for me! *grin*
Anybody familiar with this? http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/152/73/
It's so very, very yummy.
Sharky, that would be great and very appreciated. Anything would be better, IMO, than the food they have here. I'm used to going to the pet stores in the States and getting all manner of good things up there, it's just not possible here.
Oh, and for the record...I'm a girl. *grin*
I also...
We have Whiskas here. That's about the extent of the canned food. Royal Canin is the most expensive brand that's here. It's tough pickins when it comes to getting good food for them. Thankfully meat itself is fairly low cost, so their diet always gets supplimented with beef or chicken.
Vet was consulted. Nothing wrong with the little guy. Blood work, you name it. He's not received any outer body injuries either. I didn't notice his stinkiness until recently and then we took a trip up the street.
He is on a kitten chow food. Here in Brazil, we don't have access to some of the...
I'm hoping that you all may be able to shed some light. One of my little fluff butts, Arashi, is stinky! His 2 brothers and sister are just fine, but little dude is kind of skunky. It's not his pooper, it's just over all. He is 6 weeks old this week and there is absolutely nothing wrong with...
Mitten has one too. Has had it from the beginning. My Maine Coon in the States had one after she had been spayed. Glad to know it's normal, because Mitten isn't really fat. We call it his "woobilies".
This is becoming a popular alternative to spaying here in Brazil, with spaying being so expensive and the contraceptive shot being so cheap. It's R$120 - 300 to spay (US$60 - 171...mind you the monthly income for minimum wage here is $300 reais), whereas the shot is merely R$7 (US$3.99). The...
I have a couple of questions that maybe you wonderful people can help answer. Our two guys were just neutered last night and came home to us today. They are both doing well, no issues with the incisions or anything. Sasha is pretty much his affectionate self, but Mitten is a bit mad at us. He's...
What gorgeous little ones! They are going to be stunners when they grow up! Glad that Gizmo took care of them afterwards and good for you staying calm in the situation.
So cute!!! And the vid was just great. Rosie is a great mom!!! Aren't they just great to have around? In the 2nd pic, the one on top facing right kind of looks like it has a clouded pattern to the fur. Gorgeous!!
*grin* Yup, I'm pretty proud of them! It's not the calico that's male. She is most definitely a female. It's Nikita that we are wondering about. He's got all the tortie markings, the vet thinks he may be diluted tortoiseshell. Even with all the silver, he has the cream and reddish swatches with...
Sorry I didn't get back here sooner! Glitch let me know that all was well and that they were invisible until she did something for them to show. Sorry for being such a noob. It's always nice to figure things out as you go along. LOL

Aw, thanks! I sure love them. They're getting breakfast right now and Quindim is exhausted. I had them all fenced in up on the bed earlier and they look like they're getting their sea legs. All wobbly and stuff. But they sure try to get where they're going quick. Most of the time, the butts end...
