Milly is a 19 month old cross ragdoll. She's eating, drinking and using the litter tray all ok. She's an indoor cat who shares our home with Pippin. She's not been spayed (pip has been neutered).
For the last week or so milly has been howling for no reason! It's a low guttural meow... As if...
Thanks Gingers Mom but I did all of that! I was mixing it slowly over about 2 months and when I finally got only WB - he rejected it...
could it be because WB is clumping and the catsan isn't?
Oh I scoop till my arm falls off some days... especially with the kitten now in the house! I clean it when I get up in the morning, then again just before I go to work if I know they've been for thier business. Again as I walk in the door from work. Just after they've eaten and again just before...
Right, thanks Darlili, as soon as I'd finished the post above, I headed out back to the supermarket to get his first original litter which is Catsan non clumping... In the last 8 months I've gone progressively slowly toward clumping litter (which I might add he took to immediatly anyway!)...
What I've done is just that... 2 trays, one with the new stuff, and one with the old stuff. But he's not been interested in either! Grrrr
I'll obviously leave it a lot longer than a few hours to see how he gets on! It's so annoying though because he's normally just changes straight over from...
Well, we changed pippin's litter this weekend to Worlds Best because the smell was unbearable with Catsan, Bob Martin, Sainsbury's Own Brand, numerous clumping litters and countless other litters. All of which didn't do as they said they would, none of them were good enough and they all let me...
I've had Milly for 8 weeks now, (she'll be 16 weeks this saturday!) and she's soooo different to Pippin it's quite scary! Pip was never and still isn't a lap cat, whereas she is!- I cannot sit down for 2 seconds with out a little puff of black and white making herself comfortable on my...
I also have a kitty who plays with the fish... oh well I did... he now can't get to them anymore. I put a piece of think clear plastic between the tank and the hood with a few small holes drilled into it. Now the tank is kitty proof he got bored of trying so now just ignores the tank altogether...
Thanks sharky, unfortunatly, he won't eat off a flat dish... he just pushes it off and then won't eat it if it's come off the dish and falls onto the floor! (he's a fussy kitty who has OCD about germs! must be my influence)
BUT I've got a raised bowl which is flat so I'll give it another go...
Pip has always had a 1/2 sachet in the morning, a 1/2 sachet in the evening and another 1/2 before we go to bed at 10pm (or else he wakes up in the middle of the night and eats our houseplants!). He has always had this same feeding pattern and amount increased with his size since I got him.
Now...
Milly let me have a long look last night while she was knocked out from her very busy day sleeping! It just looks like wax built up so I used a warm damp flannel and wiped the ear a little and it came up all pink! I don't think it's mites so I'm feeling alittle better now about the vet trip.
I did note that CatNurse!
Still, she'd not sit still for love nor money so it's off to the vets we go! Hmmmm my favourite time in the whole world - NOT!
