When they're out of food, Cooper will sit beside me and stare at me. Occasionally he'll make this barking sound, "ruff", to get my attention. Whenever I get up, he meows really loud and runs between my feet to trip me up. If I don't head toward the pantry, he'll do it again.
I like it! Especially with a nice cheese sauce. Not quite as healthy as broccoli alone, but VERY YUMMY! My 2 year old LOVES broccoli. Sometimes I have to fight with her to eat everything else on her plate because that's all she'll want.
And something I discovered by accident the other day...
I like to cross-stitch. That's pretty easy to do while I'm watching TV at night. I really like to scrapbook but it's just SO hard to do it with a 2 year old. She's into EVERYTHING and won't stop touching things she shouldn't. By the time she's in bed, I'm too exhausted to drag everything out.
At least they stuck around. Someone hit our car when we were inside Target. We came out and found the damage. It looked like a truck or SUV hit it while backing out. They must have been backing up fast because it crushed in the trunk. No information left, no witnesses. And with a $500...
I actually like Will & Boogie. Will plays the game very well and Boogie is just funny! I would like to see someone other than Will win, though. He has won before AND he's a doctor! Someone else should take it this time.
Our cats start out sleeping with us, but then they usually want out a couple hours after we go to sleep. I don't know where they sleep when they leave our room. We should leave them out of our room altogether. My husband is allergic to cats and it's not helpful to have them in bed with us.
Unfortunately, we're not "no-kill" here in Charlotte. I knew that, but I didn't realize just how high the numbers were until I was browsing the site when we were looking to adopt. I am so heartbroken!!! I'm devastated, really! I had no idea how many animals are put down here. I'll post a link...
For anyone who is interested...
I just signed up with the Adopt a Trooper program. I am "adopting" a soldier and sending letters and care packages. I think this is a great idea. Our soldiers are so far away from home and family, and they don't have life's little luxuries. If this is something...
DH just went and bought some cat litter. We ended up with 106 lbs of Fresh Step Scoopable litter for $11! Thanks to a buy one, get one free sale and two $5 off coupons!
We recently adopted Pouncer and we were worried about how Cooper would react. He has been an only cat for 9 years. I fell in love with Pouncer and just HAD to have her, so we didn't bring the kitten smell home first. I took a towel with us to put in the carrier so she could get her scent on it...
My cats do that too, but it's the kitten that growls and hisses. Cooper is 15 lbs and Pouncer is 2 lbs. What happens is Cooper will sit on Pouncer and pin her down. She's growl and hiss while nipping at him. Then Cooper will let her up and walk away, and she'll run UNDER him, flop over on her...
Pouncer LOVES (or HATES) the cursor. She'll climb on top of the monitor and hang her head over the edge and watch the cursor. When it comes close to her, she'll swat at it! So cute!
