I must say I'm impressed with the way you Americans take care of your pets. I live in Mexico and we aren't poor by any means, we are actually in a very privileged position, and there's no way that we pay hundreds of dollars per cat per year. For my 2 female cats (one common and the other looks...
CN was definitely cheaper than RC, but I might end up back with RC when this bag of CN finishes. The smell is starting to go away a little bit. Besides, I thought CN was better?
I have been switching my 6 month Himalayan from Royal Canin Growth to California Natural over the past few weeks, and now that he gets most California Natural his poo is disgustingly smelly, and even when the litter box isn't around, he farts or something because he smells horrible. I searched...
OK so I was searching through the forums and found most people agreed with frozen pinkies as a treat. I would like to try these on my cats though I have some concerns. First and foremost I can't buy from the reputable online shops in the USA, as I'm in Mexico, so my only real option is to buy...
I haven't tried it, and really no way to do that, so I'll have to take my chances with 3 bags=75 USD. The worst case scenario is I give it to my other cats.
I'll weight my cat later when I find the scale, though he's probably like yours, and yes, I was thinking about 3 bags for one year to be sure. About the wet food, what would be a grain free wet food that sells cheaply (TOTW price) and how much would be one of those 5.5 oz. cans? And thanks for...
No they don't seem to ship anywhere but the continental USA, and even if they did agree to ship to Mexico the price would be totally insane. I contacted them and they told me that the shelf life is 1 year, so I will at least be set up for a year. How many 15 lb. bags do you think will be enough...
I see, I at least hope it's best by so I can extend the 9 months to a year maybe. Also what would be a way to maximize this in terms of the conditions in which I'd have to mantain the bags?
Well here in Mexico only Royal Canin is available. I can't think of some good idea, as I definitely won't be going every 9 months to the USA. If it was before, my father went a few times a year, but now he doesn't, and this is a trip we're making for the first time in 2 years. There must me...
OK so after getting lots of help from people here and looking for different options I decided to buy Taste of the Wild. If I understood correctly everything I read from previous threads is that grain free foods are the best, like super premium. And the price I found for this food online was 25...
Yeah seems like it. Still I would be grateful of more opinions about the foods. As of right now we'll probably buy enough 16 lb sacks of Nutro Max for my kitten to eat till he's 1 year old.
Also where are brands like Innova, Evo, Taste of the wild, Orijen and California natural sold and what...
That seems great. I'll comment this with my family and see if we change to Nutro Max. Just one question: what is the difference between the Nutro Max and the more expensive Nutro Natural Choice?
What I want is a food that is cheaper and better/equal to RC. The list I put a few posts back is all food from either Petsmart or Petco that is considerably cheaper than RC.
Yep, probably 7 pounds is the max. amount. What I don't understand is why it's cheaper with the breeder that sold me the cat. Anyway, while browsing Petsmart I found some very interesting and tempting prices for other brands. I would only really consider changing foods if I get positive comments...
Thanks for the info, the RC Persian is definitely what I'll give my cat when he gets older if I stay with RC. With the RC 36 I noticed too that they recommend that for kittens from 4 to 12 months, so that may be an option if I can find prices for large bags.
Edit: After checking the Petsmart...
I checked the Petsmart and Petco sites and it seems the max. size they carry is 7 lb at least online, and they don't have Growth. Do you recommend any other Royal Canin food for my 4 month old Himalayan? Or maybe another brand? Also like what would be the biggest size of Royal Canin food and...
Hey, I live in Mexico, where the best I can get is Hill's, Eukanuba and Royal Canin. I have a 4 month Himalayan who was fed with Royal Canin Growth while he was with the breeder and now I feed him the same. The problem is here the prices in stores are like 33 USD for a 4kg (about 9 lb) Royal...
Thank you very much for all your helpful responses. My family wants to put in the blue slip Sir Winston Churchill and call him Winnie or Church or something, though I'm not sure.
@marsch12:
When you say I have to send $12 does it mean I have to actually put $12 in the envelope? Or can I just...
He cost around 600 USD in mexican currency, originally was around 10500 but my uncle works with the breeder so I got a discount. But I've seen them cheaper (like 500 without any discount)
