Had the same problem until recently. My cat would turn her nose up at the premium wet food I gave her. When I switched to the cheap 3-for-a-dollar brand, she'd gobble it up, but I noticed she was getting thin and sickly as a result.
I stumbled onto a solution that is working extremely well. So...
I had a similar problem. The cat gobbles Friskies can food but turns her nose up at Natural Balance can food...the supposedly more nutritious option. I say supposedly because the more nutritious brand does her no good if she won't eat it.
I was just going to stick to Friskies, but my Missy...
2 weeks ago I began using 2 products that have eliminated litter sticking to the sides of the box and litter box odor.
Smart Scoop No-Stick Litter Box Spray took care of the sticky litter; Arm & Hammer Deoderizing Absorbent Liners got rid of the odor.
What's more, I switched from Arm & Hammer...
I solved my "leftover" and "food left in the bowl" problem by purchasing a small personal blender. I mix 1 or 2 oz of canned food with enough hot tap water to make a sauce. The cat loves it and I save money purchasing 6oz cans instead of 3oz cans. The amount of "sauce" disposed of is minimal...
My decision was based on weighing the suggested feeding schedule of the chosen food by observing the amount my cat actually eats. Initially, I threw away a lot of food by attempting to feed my cat 2 (6 oz) cans a day. At present, I feed Flyer 3 oz. of wet food (Natural Balance or Nutro Complete...
LOL...let's just say this. When we first acquired out cat (Md. SPCA), we went to the "dollar store" and purchased Friskies cat food, $.25 a can. Went home and opened a can for our new cat. When my wife came into the basement, where the cat's food dish would be, she asked why the animal smelled...
I feed my cat Castor & Pollux Natural Ultramix Indoor Feline. As a new pet owner (5 months), I wasn't sure what to feed Flyer until I learned that corn is not particularly good for cats. I started reading the ingredients of the cat food in my local pet store and was surprised at how many of the...
Thanks for the reply and the welcome. Yes, "Cat" is a constant companion. I only regret he didn't find us sooner.
As for being a mouser, he quickly worked himself out of a job...and earned a position into the family. We haven't seen or heard a mouse since day 3 of his joining the family. I'll...
Hello all.
My family adopted a 5 yr. old tabby from the SPCA 2 months ago. The decision was made as a last resort when our neighborhood mice threatened to take over our home. We're quite thankful that "Cat" (M.J. Flyer) did a quick and effective job evicting our unwanted tenants. What I didn't...
