    Growth on my cat's rear area

    Yes, my cat had this..it does sound like an anal gland that is about to rupture, so do NOT delay getting him to a vet. It will be a mess if it ruptures on you--like it did me--when my vet missed it. Everything worked out okay, but it was trumatic for me and my cat.

    Kidney Stones--help!

    Hi! I recently discovered (accidentally) that my cat had both kidney (renal) stones and bladder stones. My vet wanted to do surgery on the bladder stones--kidney's couldn't be touched. I'm not sure how to proceed. My cat is 12 years and I don't want to put her through surgery. Anyone else...
