So, are any of you crafter/hobbyists?

I latch hook, cross stitch, needlepoint, and sometimes scrapbook. I love crafty things. I've even built things, like jewelry boxes.

    Wish me luck.

I have a spinal tap today at 3 pm and I'm so nervous, I'm worried I might run out of the room before they even touch me with a needle.

    Anyone have Tattoo's?

I have one, and will within the next week be getting a second. The first is a blue rose with angel wings in memory of my Grandmother. The one I'm getting soon is a little tiger cub holding a lily in its front feet.

Oh my this is just awful

Just making sure. I wasn't trying to arguemenative or mean I really wish more people would call these BYBs or e-mail them. I honestly wonder sometimes if they actually know how many animals are put to sleep a year. Who knows, maybe one doesn't and they could be educated?

    Some people.....

I'm sorry you had to put up with that. She probably thought she was doing right, but I agree that she doesn't know her butt from a hole in a ground. Having two working breeds myself, I take them for walks and either bring water or buy it on the way. Perhaps if it was a little frou frou**...

Oh my this is just awful

I got hung up on once because I called a "Cordach" breeder and asked her if she knew how many puppies were euthanized a year because of people like her. KitEKats4Eva!- Labradoodles have a long way to go. To be recognized as a breed, they have to be a mix of three or more breeds and breed true...

gatta vent about my dumb dog... (long)

I read this post hoping and praying that you took her to the vet. But not vet mentioned. Please tell me I'm wrong. Just because she appears fine does not mean she doesn't have internal injuries.

Oh my this is just awful

It's funny. Almost 20 years ago, I had a "cockapoo" that we got for free. These days, you spend, what, $400-500 on one?

Honest opinions of this food needed

Pat and Alex, any idea where I could find "Stella and Chewy's freeze-dried raw?" Sharky- I would stay away from the one you posted. It's not the worst I've seen, but as PhantomSr said, I'm not a fan of "meal" either.

    Kitties & Guinea pigs?

We've got a guniea pig boar and my cats really could care less about him. A couple of them are afraid of him, Muffi tries to sleep in his cage, and a couple of them love him. Mostly they just ignore him. Though cats are seen as rodent haters (by some), for the most part, they can learn to...

which type of dog do you have with your cats?

I've got an 11 year old male Lhasa Apso, a 2 year old female Pembroke Welsh Corgi, and a 4 year old female Labrador mix. All are wonderful with my cats, especially my lab. Her best friend is Paws the cat.

Putting weight on an emaciated cat.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I'll call my vet in the morning and see if I can get some Nutri-cal. The vet already checked for worms and according to her, she has none. She seems to think that Teddy just wasn't eating for some reason in her old home, whether stress or what not, and...

Putting weight on an emaciated cat.

My foster is quite emaciated. She weighs just barely 5 pounds and should probably weigh closer to 8 or 9. Is there anyway to quickly get weight on her that isn't unhealthy? The vet's plan of action isn't much of one and hasn't done much. Right now she is getting mainly moist food (CA...

    Hate raw meat

I've got to agree with this. I'd be much more worried about food poisoning than my kitten trying to eat my soon-to-be dinner.

Should I Feel Guilty About Getting Another Cat?

Coming from a home with a lot of cats of multiple ages and attitudes, from my experience, most cats will get over any dislike fairly quickly. Some do seem to hold grudges and will fight once in a while, but for the most part, they're usually pretty happy.

the sickest thing i have ever had to do

Wild rabbits can carry grubs which when eaten can hop onto the cat and start eating through the skin. Just ask my cat, Piglet.
