I think the last time I posted on this forum was September 16th 2011 when I had to put down one of my cats. Im allergic to cats but I loved my babies so much I just put up with it...the coughing,wheezing...cant breath on occasions...yeah I was either dumb or just loved these cats...both? Anyways...
A female cat that has been coming around for over a year has been brought inside to live with us. Ariel has joined 3 other cats into the new family and has quickly adapted to inside life. We had put a cat down in September and it devastated us. Ariel was taken in to get blood work down and to...
I had to put one down today. I now have 3. My question is how will the cats react? One was really close to her...they were like best friends. Anyone have to deal with this?
thanks
Our 6 year old calico cat had to be put to sleep today. Little did we know that she was born with a birth defect. One of her kidneys never developed which means the other one worked twice as hard. The vet said her kidney that worked was like a 12 year olds kidney. The stones in her one good...

Me and my wife have 4 indoor only cats and 2 outdoor cats that adopted us as their mom and dad.
One of the outdoor cats who we named Oscar is basically the neighborhood tomcat. He is different than most male cats because he brings his young over to our house...does this "baby talk" to them...
every time I take the ladder out to do things around the house, she always is curious and wants to climb it. I have 4 cats and she is the only one who does this.
I have a stray that has adopted us. He brought 2 of his kids to our back door and we took care of them and got them a home.
The stray now is limping around on 3 legs and has been in fights with other cats. We already have 4 cats and they are all indoors. Before he got injured he would swat at...

Hello I have a question on my cats growth. They are both coming up on 2 years old (April 1) The girl is around 7 lbs...about 1 lb lighter than her mom. The boy who I believe is part maine coon is around 13 lbs. I have heard maine coons tend to fully mature much later.
part maine coon?
we have a cat that was 80-90% indoors but she occasionally wanted to go outside. In San Antonio there is a cat killer on the loose. he is slicing cats up and leaving them where people can find them. Me and my wife are terrified that our cat could be next. we recently moved from an apartment into...
I have a soft e-collar on my cat and I feel so bad for her. Its a soft e-collar but still...she seems miserable with it on. anyone ever have to do this? the vet says keep it on a week. Im afraid she will somehow take it off when we are a work. anyways this sucks
Our baby has a bald spot on her side. It just suddenly appeared. She was taking clavamox for a UTI..dont know if this had anything to do with it. I also hear about stress cause this as well. about a year ago her mother had multiple bald spots and they just grew back...we didnt do anything. Is...
Ok I took my 1 1/2 y/o for possible UTI and their annual checkups. I bring them back and mother hasnt stopped growling/hissing and its been 2 days. I ad this happen before but it was when they were kittens and she didnt act like she was gonna fight with them. Doesnt this wear off eventually?
I took her in today and she has what I expected. She was given some medicine for me to give her every 12 hours called Clavamox. I feel so sorry for her right now. She sits in the litter box for like 5 min and she leaves behind little quarter size pee-pods. She had xrays to make sure it wasnt any...
