    Stinky kittens.

Have they been neutered / spayed? My kitten had a stinky bum - but about 2months after his neuter there were no more problems. I think its a hormonal thing. When my girl cat (un-spayed) gets happy and purrs - she starts stinking a little too. I think its a happy scent they express as a hormone...

What do u buy for travelling?

It will help if you allow her to sleep and play in the carrier! Make sure its a secure happy place and hopefully it will decrease her anxiety. I don't think kitty will want to eat or drink in a scary environment - but maybe a wee rabbit sipper bottle? I'm not sure her tounge wuld be small enough...

What do u buy for travelling?

Good on you I hope the trip goes really well! You could put a harness around Vodka so when you have to get her? out at the check in you can reach in and grab a hold of her very tightly. I found that herbal medicines for pets can be very effective in reducing travel stress. I used bio-pet anti...

Kitten pooping but not peeing in liter box

I had exactly this problem. Nothing worked. My kitten peed on my bed twice a day or about 3 months. Believe me I tried EVERYTHING. I got so frustrated I was contemplating returning him to the breeder (which is totally against my beliefs). Luckily he came around. I suggest - keep the kitten out...

New here - cat catching disease from new kitten?

It sounds to me like your new kitten either brought conjunctivitus or feline herpes into your home! Both present with crusty eyes and are highly contagious - even to humans - make sure you wash your hands after touching your kitten and cat otherwise you may get a crusty eye... Your cats will...

How old is your cat? I successfully trained both my kittens to enjoys car rides! You can get these really cool dog booster seats with 'pet seatbelts' in them so the cats can see out the window. I started out by taking my kittens in the car to 'happy places' like my mums and my grandmas where...

Cricket mostly accpets the new Kitten (except for the occasional bout of jealousy) and they happliy share the same lap and play together. Help, this cat is tearing us apart!

lol - Well its a cupboard in your house with the hot water cylinder in it. Its warm (and fairly large) think a large closet. Usually is has shelves for sheets and towels to keep them warm and dry - and in the bottom it has a large space (perhaps to store a vacume cleaner?) I thought of it...

    help.. i need some sleep...

My wee Tonk had just that problem. But I managed to establish a routine with him so 'most mornings' he remains quiet untill I wake up (or about 9.30 - whichever is sooner). Confining him to the laundry at night was a necessity (and so was patience) but if your unwilling to confine kitty then my...

    Any tips for giving pills?

Try grinding up the pill and mixing it through a tablespoon or so of mince! Just put the pill in an envelope and crush it using a large book or something - then you can tip out the powder into the food and give it a quick mix! Your kitty won't even know the difference!
