    Stray Kitten At Farm

Well, I went the other day and yet again no one was there and I didn't want to just take the kitten without clarifying it with them first. The kitten is very very sweet, he comes up and greets you everytime and just jumps right up on your lap. He is such a sweetheart, so i don't think I have to...

Husband brought home 6 wk old kitten!

That is so sweet of you to take in that kitten and care for it. I am in the same situation, down at my local farm there is a young kitten with no mother, and they have TONS of cats, this one in particular seems sick. I am going to go down tomorrow and ask the farm owners, if I can take it and...

Kitten came to our house last night.

Hello, I wouldn't use the other cat's brush. Fleas would stay in the brush. I would suggest getting a flea brush, and around my area they are about $3.00 at the most.

    Stray Kitten At Farm

Hi everyone, Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. Well anyways today I went down to my local farm and while I was there I saw the cutest little kitten. This kitten was really small, I say it was about 8 weeks old and with no mother. It looked pretty dirty and very skinny though. I felt so bad for...

Should I take him to the vet?

I would take him to the vet. Since you say it is pretty hard I would say its an abcess. This abcess could be bothering him while he eats so may be why his intake of food is reduced. If it is an abcess it needs to be drained!

Pregnant cat......I've never done this before!!!

I can help you out with some of the questions, since I've gone through it twice. Is there a way for me to know when she is getting close to labor? Yes, keep an eye on her, usually you will notice her being restless and anxious. After a little bit you will notice visible signs of contractions...

When can clumping litter be used?

With my last litter of kittens I switched litters at about 12 weeks old. My personal experiences with LitterMaid were horrible. The kitten's wastes would stick to the rake, and it would be so hard to clean off. But that was just my experience. (Just wanted to let you know...)

    What can it be?

He turned a 1 year old in April. We have been trying to find a vet office to neuter him, but they all have been jam-packed with appointments. I'm glad I finally found someone. He is both an indoor and outdoor cat, but since this incident I am going to limit his time and supervise him. I am...

    What can it be?

Okay, it was an abcess caused by a cat bite. They have to drain it out so he is staying over night. Also, while he is there he is getting neutered. It is a big day for him! Luckily, it wasn't anything worse than an abcess. He is also going to be on antibiotics for a little too for the abcess to...
