Well by last night she was eating normal again and holding it down. The vet says she seems fine. Don't know what happened.
I've been putting Vaseline in her ears because of a ear problem she has been having and it's the only thing that has helped so far.
She was fine yesterday but she has been throwing up every time she eats or drinks anything today. I have been putting Vaseline in her ears for a few weeks could this have made her sick?
Thanks everyone I've tried to switch her food but so far she won't eat anything but Purina.
I've also been putting drops of extra virgin olive oil in her ears but it's not helping. It causes more gunk to come to the top and it kind of dries around her ear canal which is driving her so crazy that...
I'll check them out. Any idea what they cost? I have three cats and it usually cost me around a hundred bucks a month to feed them. lol But it's worth it because they're my babies. My youngest is named Wednesday(she's the one with the ear problem) and she's a picky eater.
I've also fed her Science Diet, Authority, 9 Lives & Friskies and she had the same problem with all of them. What is a good alternative that might help?
I've been putting olive oil on a q-tip and cleaning her ears out with it once a week for about three weeks or so but this hasn't helped. Maybe it hasn't been getting deep enough into her ears. I'll try putting drops of olive oil in it and see if it works better.
I'm always concerned about my cat...
My two year old cat had gas when she was a kitten and it has never gone away but the smell did. These days the only way to to tell she has gas is if you are holding her after she ate and you can feel these little explosions in her stomach, sometimes you can hear it but it doesn't seem to bother her.
My 2 1/2 year old cat had ear mites when she was a few weeks old. She was treated and they cleared up. She later developed an ear infection that the vet believed was caused by the ear mites. This also cleared up when it was treated with some ear drops. Off and on for about a ear she would get a...
I will. This has me concerned because I've heard that a cat could develop a tumor from vaccinations and they can show up as early as two weeks after receiving the shot and my cat had a hydrocortisone shot almost three weeks ago. Can they get these tumors from hydrocortisone or only vaccinations?
I just called the vet but he wasn't available so I talked to the vet tech and she said it was probably a reaction to the shot. That maybe some of the hydrocortisone got between the skin and caused a build up but it should go down. My question is how long will it take before it goes down?
Hi! While I was petting my cat 2 1/2 year old cat tonight I noticed she had a lump under the skin on her back between the shoulder blades. The lump is small, round and soft.
She had a hydrocortisone shot about two and a half weeks ago to treat a ear problem. Could this be a side effect from the...
The doctor thinks she has ear mites but her ears are very sore so he is treating that first. He wants me to bring her back next week so he can clean them and find out what's going on.
She did have ear mites when I first found her. (she was two weeks old at the time) She was treated for them and they cleared up.
Her left ear does have more wax in it than her right ear but it doesn't look as bad as it did when she had the mites.
She's an indoor only cat. Is it possible she...
