Well after a week the two boys have hit it off.
I have had Matteo two weeks now and Gizmo one.
They run through the house and play w/ one another, and have even made attempts to play w/ the girls. Ha!
Here is a picture of them after a long day.
I am so happy that they love one another!!!
Both Matteo & Gizmo went to the vet this morning.
Several test were done and both are ok. He had to pull one of Gizmo's teeth b/c it was rotten. I found that odd b/c he is only 5 1/2 months old.
So now I am worried about it being Stomatitis. I am so paranoid now b/c of my experience w/ FIP...
Took the kitties to the vet this morning and he seems to think that it may be a bad bag of food. Even though it is not expired he said to throw it away and GAVE us a big bag of multicat!
Since I have never used this food I am would like to know if this is normal:
1) Does it usually have a strong odor? I mean, the entire room smells like the food!
2) Does it make the cats poop smell worse? B/c it is horrible when that kitten goes to the bathroom!
I checked the expiration...
Matteo threw up three times last night and then one more time but nothing but mucas came out. We have an appointment scheduled for first thing tomorrow morning. He is still drinking and eating so they said he will be ok till we get him checked out.
I agree w/ what hissy said.
Something you would need to think about w/ a kitten would be that they play and get into everything. It has been my experience that they are more the "children" than the cuddling cat type for several months. Is that something you could handle?
Be it a cat or a...
I have tried the trays, and my teeth and gums were too sensitive.
I think that was around $150 wasted.
Later on I did the laser whitening and it worked awesome!
It was about $300 or $350, but my teeth look so white now.
After that I bought a sonicare toothbrush and it helps maintain and it has...
My ten year old female begain doing the same thing when I first brought a new cat in to the house. She has stopped now, but it took a few months. It was just stress b/c she was so used to being the only one.
I will have to ask the vet about that. However, anytime I try to open his mouth to give him something he goes nuts. I don't want to hold him down w/ too much pressure and hurt his little body though.
Flagl, or however it is spelled, prescribed last month for another cat for the same reason. I am taking everyone to the vet this weekend so I will see if there is something else I can do. He apparently is not going to be one that I can give meds to, atleast not by mouth.
