Thank you bothfor advice, I was thinking possibly of getting another fixed male that is 6 months old and he'd be the youngest, maybe "D" would use her time to help the little new comer and take her mind off of Kallie. What do you think? If not a male, the people have a female too, the sister to...
This is my fourth cat, and she's been here 7 weeks now, after about a week and a half, she was getting along with my oldest female and my male cat great, all are fixed, but my middle cat "D" refuses to have anything to do with "Kallie". All the cat are about the same age, between 2-4 years old...
HI, I am still having my cat problem, maybe it's going to take time, I do not believe that Dix is afraid of Kallie "cause when we put them in the house, in the same room together, yesterday, they layed only a few feet from each other, Dix just looked at Kallie & only hissed at her when she tried...
Dear Claire,
I am going through the same problem, I have not had cats before, & 3 years ago we move to the country, and I needed them for mousers, I have 4, (all spayed, 3 girls 1 boy) my most recent addition to the family is a 1-2 year old spayed female, they all are pretty much close in age 2...
Thank you for your idea. I have given Dix her space, and will soon try to get them to at least be within 10 feet of each other. When I have tried that recently, Dix growls & hisses, & Kallie is not doing anything to her. ?? And now Dix will even hiss at the other cats that's been here, as if...
Hi, I have 4 yard cats, for mousers, I live on 5 acres, I got a new cat a month ago, and one of my other cats refuses to get along with her, I have now 3 girls and 1 boy, all fixed and between the age of 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 years old. The other cats took to the new cat within a week. But Dix does not...
Thank you for your concern. She was not bleeding anywhere. Today she ate and drank well. I am keeping an close eye on her, but she has improved alot! Thanks again.
My outdoor female spayed cat was missing for about 30 hours, when she showed back up, she was not eating, just very little, not like her, no energy and her right side, both front and hind legs were not working properly. When she would stand, they will slowly slide away from her and she walks...
Willy makes me think of my beloved late grandmother, no matter how much she needed to go to the restroom, out in public, she would wait till she was back home! We cut a many trips around town short. Thanks for the laugh.
You could be right, it seems to be at night that she does it, so maybe she just want a nearby area to go quickly. Thank goodness she has not gone in the bushes in over a week, it could also be that she's growing up to. I am glad she is spayed now & already I see she happier.
I WILL DEFINALLY KEEP THE ORANGE PEEL IDEA IN MIND, THANK GOOD NESS SO FAR SHE HAS SLOWED UP, AND I HAVE BEEN NOT FEEDING HER SO LATE IN THE EVENING. I DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THE FOX POOP, THAT SEEMS LIKE IT SHOULD HELP TOO. THANKS!
I HAVE HAD HER SINCE 2 MONTHS OLD, LUCKY SHE HAS NOT MATED AND NOW SHE IS SPAYED! I HAVE A OLDER FEMALE, SPAYED AND SHE IS GREAT TRYING TO BE A TEACHER. I HAVE A 8 MONTH OLD MALE, I HAVE HAD 2 WEEKS AND HE'S FIXED/SHOTS ETC.. HE'S WORKING OUT GREAT! I DO AGREE ABOUT GETTING THEM FIXED, THEY ACT...
Thanks for the great idea. I have been trying to get grass to grow where she dug up so much dirt, and some is coming back, for over a week now she has not gone in the bushes, yeah! Taking it one day at a time. Thanks again.
She goes in the morning to get spayed. I am trying to get grass to grow back under the bushes & the pebbles is a good idea. We have a gravel driveway and she doesnot bother it. Thanks to all for your input!
