Hi Jen,
I guess technically she's a stray, but a very smart difficult to catch stray. I've been trying to work with her for a long time. She does not trust people. I set traps for her with every kind of bait imaginable, no go.
I have just recently got her to come close to eat. I won't feed her...
Hi,
I have a feral female living at my house. She had 2 kittens 6 wks. ago. I've just taken the kittens in to ween them, and get them ready for adoption at some point.
How long will it take for the mom to dry up so I can capture her and have her fixed?
I've had cats all my life but have never...
Sending Giant vibes for your sweet babies. Hope you can get Tomas to the vet, and check that collar around his neck. Hate to see that grow into him. Hope all goes well!
If you get a new cat right away, there's no guarentee your other cat will be happy about a stanger. Whenever you decide to do it, expect an ajustment period for the two cats to get use to each other. I would definetly get a new cat at some point, since your other cat is use to company.
Brrrr is an understatement! We woke up to 14 below this morn in NE WY. But hey, at least we have power. Can you image being cold with a power outage? Always something to be thankful for!
I would visit my cat. I don't think it would make the situation worse, but let your cat know your there for him. So sorry he is going through this. I sure hope they can fix the problem.
Muffin will be in my thoughts. I hate having to take my cat to the vet for anything, only because she's a basket case anytime we go. It sounds tho like Muffin gets along well with your vet, so that's very positive! Good Luck.
I had to collar my cat for a couple of days, which went over real big! I bought one of those thick paper plates, and cut a large enough hole to fit her head. Then i cut around the outside so it wasn't to large, just enough so so could'nt reach around to lick. Worked like a charm, and it was cheap.
