I never said you mentioned crusading. That's just my over the top phrase I use sometimes.
At this moment I'm not sure whether I'll get them fixed or not. Whether I let her have another litter or no I had already decided that that would be the last even if she did have it. I'm continuing to...
Contracts would not work up here. Besides that I wouldn't have anyone sign one... not about this. I may love cats but they are still just cats and not a good enough reason to make someone sign a piece of paper. If I did want a contract from people no one would want a kitten from me. Most...
Here are some fun pictures...
Cheese playing hide and seek.
Bob using my box springs as a temporary jungle gym. (Cheese had been in there with him but the sound of my camera turning on made him jump out.)
Popcorn caught just before she licks her chops.
It would probably be best to get them fixed. Unfortunately it never seems to end. One family constantly feeds fifty cats (most of which can't be caught to be fixed). Reese will be easy to catch. She comes to you and you can just pick her up and cart her purring self around. Does anyone know...
Well, I've got some time to find homes for Popcorn's next litter if I start now. If I can't find anyone to take them I'm not sure what I'll do... probably pray that there is only one and it's exactly the kind my mom wants. I did promise her a kitten from Popcorn. Phew... something to think...
I just love the kitten stage! The bumbling, blinking and lack of motor skills are a wonderful contrast to the mad feline heard that traverses the house at great speed sounding not unlike a herd of stampeding buffalo. *sighs blissfully* Too bad for me it's so hard to find good homes for the...
Siamese are so gorgeous! I attempted to apply for adoption but my country roots were apparantly too rough for them. *shrug* That's alright though. If the adoption had gone through there wouldn't have been room in the household for Cheese (I can only push my "just one cat" dad so far in one year).
No chewing on plants... good kitties! We're having problems with them using our freshly rototilled flower bed as a litter box... and after I bought them a nice new litter too!
My family has grown a lot since I was here last! My kitten Popcorn has had a litter of her own. Three beautiful kittens. One didn't make it unfortunately. There are only two left: a male with no tail (Bob) and a female with a tail (Monty).
Also, recently a gorgeous cat (who, consequently...
Have you thought about getting another kitty? It probably won't quite fill the void left by the adorable little one but it could keep Polly company when you aren't there.
First of all I would like to say that I agree with Gayef. There are so many different variables that contribute to any one thing that knowing the whole picture is impossible. It is a dangerous thing to come to damning conclusions with little evidence. I'm not saying this to condemn anyone...
I wonder why she was so mean about it? It seems a silly thing to get mean about. Irresponsible? How odd! Thank you for your advice on breeders though; it's been helpful. I believe that it is always best to set the ground work years in advance of such a massive project!
