Our kittens are now 5 weeks old, and daily I am pickingfleas off and killing them plus the mother as well but I can't get them all, can I use a powder on the mother, then she on't be passing them on to the kittens anymore.
If your kittens are still nursing from their mum you can always try and get the little one to eat at a time when the others are asleep so she/he gets a good feed and doesn't get knocked out of the way by the more dominant one's also see if she/he will take to one of the lower two nipples as they...
any more news yet? Have you been to the vet??? I am very excited to see how it all works out, yet am anxious at the same time as my cat recently had kittens and we had to do a c-section, she had some genetic problem that was going to make a normal labour impossible so we had to do the...
Great job with Kiddie, I was just wondering this morning how you were going with him. Glad to hear everythings going well, and that he's taken off with his litter training and feeding on normal food. WTG
If your cat has taken to the cage I wouldn't suggest giving it to the puppy anyway you can pick another one up? A child's play pen works well, until they can learn to jump out of it. Wishing you all the luck in the world with your soon to be larger family.
Hi I would wait til after the 20th November before taking her to a vet by then a vet should be able to tell how many days left, we did that with our cat nearly two weeks ago, and we had to take her back 2 days later for a c-section as when our vet talked to us afterwards he found that our cat...

how is the mum to be going now?? My new mum went on and off her food for about 2 weeks before she had her litter, just keep the food and water there for her for when she wants it.....GOOD LUCK
Can a mother cat get mastitis like humans? Our new mum has two very red and raw area's around the two lowest nipples, the kitten that has claimed them as his own, hasn't been suckling at the times I have gone into check on them, although he is still gaining weight, could it be an infection or...
I don't know if a kitten could distinguish between a piece of cloth and clothing someone was wearing she might think its fair game and continue to try and bite, maybe some kind of chew toys would help alleviate the situation
It might sound a bit cruel, but you can use a spray bottle of water and give them a squirt on the 'mist' setting and say NO, they soon get the idea of it not being such a great idea. As they learn it you will be able to just say no without using the spray and they will stop....hope that might...
