It's been a long time since I've posted here. Sorry it took this catfood nightmare to get me back. With 13 indoor cats, I should check this board every day.
I had some good advise from someone here about Nutro...She even talked me into switching from Eagle Pack dry to Nutro Natural dry several...
Since mid February, I had been feeding my "top cat" and oldest cat, Eddie the Nutro Natural pouches. He one each day for about 3 weeks. Last Thursday night I gave ALL my 13 indoor cats a "special treat" and they all shared about 5 or 6 pouches.
I heard the news on Saturday, but didn't get...
That's really is good..but I'm afraid by the time a southern drawl slow talkin' Carolina gal like me tried saying Alametos....it would take way too long to call him! Allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll laaaaaaaaaaaa meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee tooooossssssssssssssss
I like that, seriously..thanks
I like Abacus....but only a few minutes ago, I made my mind up...Mr. Frodo.
Frodo was my favorite hobbit anyway, cept for Merry
THANK YOU for your excellent suggestion
Thanks to all who suggested just good names for my new kitten. It's been such a joy today watching him play. I got some good shots of him and will post when I am allowed.
I went with Alexa's suggestion since I really wanted a hobbit name. Mr. Frodo suits this cat and if you ever get to see him...
I was told that the mama cat was called Paws.....so I changed her name to Polly and it fits her very well.
The kitten is the one with the HUGE hobbit like feet....he has a great personality too. I just can't come up with a name and it's driving me crazy
My outdoor cats are outdoor only by their choice. They are all spayed/neutered and get their rabies shots. One if very very old.
It's not that cold in the winter where I live, but when the weather is bad, I open up my back porch to Joey and Teddy. Sunny is a wild kittena and sleepings in my...
Lucky me...I got to rescue the most unique kitten. It has 6 toes on the front paws and 5 on each back paw. Reminds me of a hobbit in Lord of the Rings.
If any readers of this post can think of a unique name for darling little male kitty with the BIG feet, I sure would appreciate a suggestion...
Haven't posted in awhile, but I sure need you guys now! I am Libby in North Carolina and I have 11 indoor cats (all spayed/neutered and well taken care of) Thursday night, someone dumped a mama cat that I thought was pregnant and 2 kittens (approx 7 - 8 weeks old)
All these cats are...
I have the same problem with 3 of my indoor cats. I have to take them to vet every 6 weeks or so to get a shot. It is not very expensive to do this and it sure helps the cats feel SO MUCH better
"One Can Never Have Too Many Cats!" I have this saying on my :censor::censor::censor::censor: door.
I have 11 indoor cats and all are well cared for and visit the vet when they need to go. They eat better than I do (lol)
I didn't mean to have so many, but it just worked out that way.
I...
I have 11 cats in my house...but Eddie (the cat who is doing this coiled up tail thing) is the Top Cat....no one intimidates him. Eddie is a very unique cat, from his exta toe on each front paw to way he almost can communicate with me or anyone. I can't imagine him having a dominance problem...
I know that certain ways cats will hold their ears and certain changes in a cat's tail movement are the ways they communicate with us.
My top cat, Eddie has started going around the house with his long-haired tail coiled up under him...it looks nice, but WHAT the heck is Eddie trying to tell...
For over a year now, I have been taking Krammer to the vet for his shot for his skin allergy (more than likely caused by a flea bit), most recently, I have taken both DJ for her skin allergy shot and Sadie for her chronic sneezing and sinus mess coming outta her nose.
I know these shots are not...
Having 11 indoor fur babies, I find nails and whiskers on my hardwood floors all the time! Those nails grow out QUICK. I do NOT believe in de-clawing, so I give my cats a "manicure" every 2 weeks and those nails grow LONG, SHARP and QUICKLY!!
I will send positive thoughts and prayers your way.
I think you need to made a decision whether or not your cat has a quality life that CAN be enjoyed or if their dignity dies each day. It's a tough decision and only you can make it. IF there is hope for improvement, I would GO FOR IT...
Hi Laurel
I use to have 5 cats...now I have 11 indoor cats and 3 outside cats! I enjoy every day that I have these beautiful furbabies around me. It's a job keeping them up, but I don't mind.
I am new to this forum as well....there is a wealth of info here and plenty of nice people to help...
All my indoor cats love catnip and only get it once in a while. I have never had a problem...mine just roll in it and later they all drift off to a peacful sleep.
It's like what pot does to humans, I was told..don't know???
I also grow my own catnip.
