who wanted Hamlet to stay on the farm!
I like this limerick stuff
(Hope the ones I write aren't too tough!)
But when I check with Kitty to find
If she thinks I'm way out of line
When he jumped on a deer for a ride!
Here's another little fellow with a dilemma:
One time a kitten named Brad
Tried to answer a question he had...
He jumped in the shower,
But his plans turned quite sour
With his tongue on the toe of Guess Who!?
There once was a puss named Chartreuse
Who longed to meet up with a moose
So up to Canada she went
Till all her money was spent
As the horrendous events of this week unfolded, Americans sat glued to their TV screens, many with hands clasped or arms around their loved ones. For those of us who have no one to hug, we still may have received comfort from loved ones. I dedicate the following poem to Jasmine, my wonderful...
Hello everyone! Debby, I loved reading about 2nd Chapter of Acts. I'm sure I've listened to them because that time period is when I was really getting into Christian music. Anyone remember Mike Warnke? He was a Christian comedian...really a stitch! and inspiring! Of course I loved Phil...
Loretta,
What a sweet, caring person you are! Your poem really touched me. It's a tribute to the fact that ALL life is important, no matter how small or short. Your poem may be about the death of the puppies, but more than that it is a celebration of their life. Thank you for sharing this...
I agree with Dawn and Debby that 1) this man is a government official NOT showing much maturity; and 2) this hurts Christianity to link it with such racist attitudes.
As a Christian who takes Scripture very seriously, it worries me that people use the Bible so freely to endorse their issues...
I love the picture Catarina77777 posted of Rainbow Bridge. I've read that piece at my vet's office and was wondering if anyone on here had a copy of it? or could direct me to a site where I might find it? As a Christian with a very real sense of what my life will be like through the gateway...
To all who've been following: an update on Josie in her new home. After two weeks, Jasmine no longer hisses and growls when Josie comes near. Josie has gotten BOLD and actually attempts to play with Jazz. Jazz being the old lady of 13 that she is tries to act her age. The two of them still...
Gap,
No offense taken...I didn't think you were putting me down at all. I appreciate your concern. I know about declawing and am definitely against it. I won't do it to an animal again if I can help it. I've been fortunate that my cats had no behavioral problems from it (and least I hope...
Thank you Sunlion and Lotsocats for your enthusiastic good wishes. And thank you, Gap, for your comments. About the declawing: I agree with you. In a perfect world I would live on a farm with dozens of cats who had every claw they were born with and could use them as nature intended...
Hi! I like both your writing and your enthusiasm for Blacky's friendship. He sounds like a great guy! Hope you'll share more of him and his antics with us. Stick with the writing. You have a true talent.
Hello everyone! I'm happy to report I have a new member in my household. I went to the local shelter on Saturday to find a roommate for Jasmine. Tough choice! There were so many adorable cats from which to choose. I was targeting an older female, but even so, it took quite a while to narrow...
THANKS EVERYONE! I really didn't know what to do, but it sounds like everyone agrees Jasmine needs a feline friend. I really think so too. She and Pearl were constantly grooming each other. Now, LOL, while I don't mind Jazz licking my knee or elbow industriously, I simply REFUSE to return...
Thanks for your reply, Shannon. And I forgot to thank Pamela for her condolences on my loss of Pearl. That was a tough thing to do, but she was VERY sick--liver problems and it just didn't look good. I couldn't stand to watch her waste away. Okay, so I have to be truthful here--she was a...
