Josie does that to me too. I also took it as she wanted me to wash her in areas she couldn't reach. Glad to know it's something other people have experienced.

Josie kneaded as a kitten, outgrew it, and then it came back. She kneads my shoulder and upper arm before she curls up in my armpit. If I lay down for a nap and she wants to nap with me, she'll knead my tummy before she lays down.

Josie is funny about scratching that spot too. She lifts her hind end when I scratch there, like it feels good. However, she definately doesn't like me to scratch there too much or too long.

Josie has never been a tree climber. She'll lay under it and bat at the ornaments on the lower 1/3 of the tree. I always tell her no, but it doesn't seem to matter. I just make sure I put safe ornaments on the lower branches.

My Josie isn't a tree climber, so I just don't put many ornaments on the bottom 2-3 feet of the tree. The ones I do put down there are ones that won't hurt her if she gets them off.

Your Jamie sounds as rowdy as my Josie. If he has a fascination with electric things, get him a Panic Mouse toy, or something similar of the sort. My Josie loves it and will even go over and paw at the wand when she wants me to turn it on.
