Yeah something like 2 out of every 25 white haired blue eyed cats are deaf. At least that is what the vet told me. He said that Snowball is only like the 3rd deaf cat he came across. He told me that most of the time people don't even realize that their cats are deaf.
Thank you everybody for your replies - I am lucky to have snowball and even tho i have only had her for a couple of weeks I know that I can't live w/out her. Her and patches sleep on my bed on a cat comforter at night. I can tell the different between their meows. Patches is low and "normal"...
Well - I was worried about what ya'll were saying about the possibility that my snowball was deaf in my last thread. I started doing tests.
1. scratching the floor behind her.
2. crinkling paper behind her.
3. snapping my fingers next to her ears while asleep.
4. Running the vacuum cleaner...
Oh wow .. no I don't think she is ... cuz she cries over loud noises... but I will ask the vet next week. She is almost 6 weeks old ... her eyes might change colors still right?
I put ear mite medicine that the vet gave me for snowball in her ears. The inside of her ears were completely black and she was scratching them. Should I have done that?

You need to have your kittens. Cuz the way this is going ... I am going to end up with more kittens then you do (I just found another kitten today). So please ... I need my sleep! Have your babies so kittens stop finding me (the sucker that I am).

Oh yeah she meow's LOUDLY when she wants to get to the litter box. .. I know this prob sounds really stupid ... but I can tell the difference between her meows... ya know the "i'm hungry" "gotta go pee/poo" "PAY ATTENTION TO ME" meows ... it's prob just my imagination... I am very proud of her...
Snowball is now 4 weeks old. She still isn't eating "normal" food. When can I start weaning her? And she seems to be peeing a lot ... is that normal? How often do kittens pee?
her hair is long ... i don't know if it will stay that way ... I hope it does and I hope that her eyes stay blue ... when do eyes start to change color?
haha i forgot to add words ... She is now 4 weeks old and striving. She does not sleep as much as she used to and constantly wants to get out of her "crib". I let her out but I have to keep a good eye on her cuz I just moved and there are lots of things that she can get into. She likes to sit in...
