    Sisters Attack!

We had the same thing recently, too! 2 female littermates, 8 mos old, always getting along. Dec. 23, they were hissing and growling and their fur was all on end, all of the sudden when I got home. They're back to normal, for an unknown reason, now. I hope yours are too!

    Getting Urine Out of Down

I'm having the same issue, with my mattress. I don't think much urine got on the mattress, but it smells. We tried rubbing some Nature's Miracle on it (1/2 hour ago, so nothing yet) and don't know if that'll be enough. It's a new mattress and wedding present; warranty might cover it, but we'd...

    How to clean up pee?

My husband and I came home from Xmas vacation to discover that our cats had gotten stuck one night (according to the woman coming in to take care of them) in our bedroom, and had peed on our bed. She let them out, etc, and everything was fine after that. The sheets smell like pee, the...

    "Trick" kneecap

The brace is a good idea - if the problem isn't fixed, I'll definitely look into it.

    "Trick" kneecap

The vet was pointing at his knee to demonstrate. Yeah, she's only 6 months, and the vet said (logically) that she'd need to be full grown before having the surgery, and obviously we can't keep her in the bathroom till she's grown!!! I'm hoping it's just sore for now and won't pop out too often!

    "Trick" kneecap

Hi there, Well, I took Juniper to the vet after keeping her alone last night, and the vet says that she has a "trick kneecap" - her kneecap slides out of place. He slid the cap back into place. When she's grown, she will probably need surgery, he says, to make the kneecap stay in place and not...

    Unhappy cat in seclusion

No gate... they're so playful! I just want to keep June quiet for a while. Maybe since I'm taking her in tomorrow, it'd be OK to have her out, I just hate to see her running around and playing when she's limping.

    Unhappy cat in seclusion

I would put the other cat in there, but they like to play, so part of the reason for the seclusion is so that they don't play and tussle and tackle each other, thus hurting Juniper more.

    Unhappy cat in seclusion

Hi there, One of my little girls, Juniper (6 mos) has been limping the last day or so, so I've called the vet and we have an appointment till tomorrow morning. I have her in seclusion from her sister so they don't run around and Juniper doesn't hurt herself further. She's in a bathroom by...

    Self-suckling kitten!

She was with her mom for the first 2 to almost 3 months, and now has her sister with her.

    Self-suckling kitten!

My husband and I adopted 2 kittens about a week and a half ago. For the first couple of days, they were just fine, until they started suckling our new, soft, furry blanket. We thought it was cute, but very hard to sleep, especially when they kept on doing it! We took away the fuzzy blanket, and...
