I am not sure who made it because I opened the large bag and dumped it into a rubbermaid bin. I just know it was Kirkland brand - it was the first time we ever bought that make and expected it to be better quality than Friskies or Whiskas.

Its rare that I hit my cat....please don't assume that I beat them     I understand what you are saying but also maybe the cat connects his behaviour with the whack.   

Although I understand that physical punishment is not looked upon favourably, when my cat is a bully and I whack him when he attacks one of my other cats.  Then he slinks off - he knows his actions were not welcome.  We can talk to children but I am not sure we can talk to cats.  I don't think...
