Thank you so much.
He is a foster kitten. I got him when he was 5 weeks old. He was dumped at a pet shop and then brought to me. Im not sure he was eating at that time but only getting kitten milk. He started off on royal canine.
His eyes were also in a horrible state.. Always watery with...
Its alot more than that. Thats only a piece of it.
The vet gave him special kitten food to be on. Cant remember the name at the moment . It has a weird name.
But they ever did any test so he might still be allergic to something in that food.
The sad part is, he is only 5 months old
This is what comes out of my kittens ears. Everyday.
Ive been by the vet alot of time. He got treated for ear mites and alot of different kinds of ear infections. They even had him under and cleaned out his ears completelt.
He's been on antibiotics and also got different types of drops to clean...
.
Yes i am only doing the drops.
The vets instructions were.
I had to do the drops daily for a week. After that I had to do it 3 times a week for 2 weeks and now only once a week or once in a while. But the ears are really bad so its hard to do it only once a week
His breath has an odor though.
I'm not sure if all of these are connected somehow.
But I've checked I side his mouth.
No sores, no rotten teeth and also no yellow or red spots.
.
Unfortunately yes , it is back every day . They also gave me an oil for just cleaning. It's named ear clean. It's there to soften the junk that comes out.
I will cleanot his ears tomorrow again and take a photo of the stuff that comes out.
It is winter here by me. I did not change...
When I go to the vet (not sure when that will happen since all our accounts are maxed out) I will definitely ask to do an ear culture.
I just really want this to be over with.
I'm just really scared something is horribly wrong.
They had him under anesthesia and cleaned out his ear completely. Then they gave me antibiotics and told me it was just a normal ear infection. Nothing changed and I went to a different Vet that told me antibiotics won't do anything and she gave me the drops and said I should change his food and...
I have tried the olive oil .
It goes away for a day and then just comes back.
Its just a little weird that the discharge is kind of like a jelly I also get big chunks out.
I will post a few photos when I clean his ears again in a little while.
He has no corn in his diet and I mostly feed him...
Okay where to begin.
My foster kitten is not 5 months old.
He has been having ear problems since he was 3 months.
At first I was told it was nothing, gave me something to clean ear's with.
It got worse.
Took him back then I got told it was an ear infection.
He was on antibiotics for a week...
