Quite a while isn't it .... I expect it'll also turn cream again ?  

My Ragdoll x was spayed some weeks ago and stitches are now out.  Its interesting to see her cream fur is growing back darker in the patch that was shaved and am assuming this will eventually turn cream again and wonder how long it takes?  The rest of her cream fur doesn't seem be darker...

Thanks everyone for the really interesting answers ...... Yes, I believe all the kittens were semi long haired.  Our vet always used to remark on her unusual chocolate colour.  We always thought she had some oriental in her somewhere along the line. She was a little character
