I agree with the above poster that it is (at least usually) a good idea to use wet food as much as feasible and Fancy Feast Classics is a brand that I have used and have had no issues with. Of course every cat and every situation is different so there is are no fixed rules.
I have used Espree natural Kitten shampoo, although I doubt if there is much difference between brands, It seems to be gentle on the kitty though and gets rid of smells just fine. You may have to wash her several times, the smell may be sticky. Generally I would bathe a cat every few weeks or...
