i thought my momma cat had at least a cpl wks to go because she didnt look that big and i didnt see or feel any movement....well i was wrong she had four health babies two days after i took her in......so i wouldnt worry tooo much and if you do you can always call the vet for advice
reguardless of it being right or wrong it should have been your decision period....i dont know about you guys but my animals are like my children and i do not let anyone make decisions on their behalf unless i am aware of them....but thats just me
i have four wk old kittens and what i did was place a box small enough for them to get in and out of right next to mommas litter box....then the first night i would place each kitten in the box and they would just stand there and dig a bit...a cpl would taste the litter and it was the clay...

if you have trouble getting the kitten to eat the food you choose than i would mix a bit of what it likes with the other and each feeding mix less and less ..... you could even try and mix a bit of kmr milk replacer with the food and see if that helps.....
my kittens are about the same age....i...
I too took in an outside pregnant cat and as mentioned before it is best to keep baby away for several reasons....make sure momma has her own place in the house....if possible a room to herself with all her essentials would be best....or a large kennel....she will need her security when her...
my cat cleaned herself a bunch in that area when it was getting closer....i believe she is keeping clean because she knows her babies will be comming and she wouldnt want then to get anything on them on their way out....im sure there are other reasons as well but my cat never really took care of...
ok i have a problem with the ringworm treatment....i was told to wash twice a week but one of the kittens has ringworm around one of their eyes and im scared of getting the wash in the eye. Also one has it right next to its mouth....and i was told i could use a topical ointment over the counter...
oh yes the vet has gotten them all fixed up for the most part...the antibiotics cleared the sickness away in a few days.....still giving them their treatments and some of the ringworm is getting much better........all is going great!!
