Well will this one specifically it is Spalding County Animal Shelter (http://www.spaldingcountyanimalshelter.com/). They are really good about keeping their website updated themselves and they have a "Last Chance" section on cats/dogs scheduled to be euthanized that day and YES they are...

Elmer was adopted locally. Also, sorry to disapoint but, the lady that faxed the paperwork in on Edora was showing "signs of illness" so they euthanized her before she was picked up that afternoon!!! When she got there to pick up Edora she was very upset, but she did rescue Gabby instead.
(No...
Just a quick update, it looks like I won't be moving this August/September after all. I've decided it is probably best for all of us if me and the animals stay here while hubby goes to CT himself for training and we will move when he finishes that, I just don't want to have to move twice in one...
Both are safe as well as Gabby, who was up to be euthanized today!! Also, there was a mama and kittens (just gave birth recently) up to be euthanized 3/6 and they have been rescued!!
All of the cats posted above have been pulled by rescue. I'm taking in Dayna.
Of course, there are more (2 I believe) now scheduled to be euthanized March 1st, Edora & Elmer.
I've got 8 cats and 8 litterboxes right now and have 1/2 w/ World's Best and 1/2 with Arm and Hammer Clumping. I tried Tidy Cats but the amonia smell was too strong for some reason. One cat would pee and the whole box would need to be dumped out. I really really like World's Best so far but...
My hubby has enlisted in the Navy and we will be moving from SC to CT probably in August-September. One of my many animals is a feral cat. She has been with me about 1 1/2. She came in originally through my rescue, it was a litter of 6 3/4 month old feral kittens. I had success in...
I bought one from Petsmart for about $300 and two from Ebay for about $120 a piece and the ones I got on Ebay were just as sturdy and well made as the one from Petsmart, I actually like the ones I picked out on ebay better because they have more of that sisal rope scratch post stuff on it. It...
I believe they are completely safe for cats. I get a Virginia Pine everywhere and have never had any problems, other than my cats climbing it and my dogs eating the branches. Most people add asprin to the water to keep the tree alive longer, but with cats you can't do that because they will...
Why do you have to give up your cats? My husband also just enlisted and is going away to basic soon and we plan on moving with all seven of our cats and two of our dogs. $1400 a month is about what my husband will make starting out as well but then that doesn't include the housing allowance we...
You should take him to the vet to just get him a check-up to make sure he is ok healthwise. Pet shops aren't the best places to get kittens. How long have you had him? Does he have plenty of toys? I don't agree with ignorning him and he will stop meowing. I always give my cats attention...
Do you have a carrier? You can usually pick them up turn the carrier standing up with the door open and pointing upwards and drop them in back end first. That way they don't necessarily see it coming. Please let us know what the vet says!! Good luck!
Out of my seven cats, four of them are males and they all get along wonderfully. Two of my male cats sleep cuddled up together all the time. I personally find my male cats more friendly, more playful and more affectionate than my females.
We have started taking our dining room table chairs and switching because we have the same problem!! We just pull the chair the cat is on backwards and slide up a new one, of course, the problem is when we get up again a different cat jumps on that one, and we have actually run out of chairs to...
I keep my fosters seperated for about 2 weeks usually, have then vetted, and tested then I allow them out with everyone else. I just like to make sure they aren't getting sick, they are eating, drinking and going to the bathroom first. The majority of my cats don't mind new cats constantly...
