I'm thinking of adopting a very friendly cat that has been living in the streets for about two years. He is too sociable and sweet to be a stray. If i do so, he will be indoor only. But he is a big time sprayer. I know neutering can stop the spraying, but it depends on the cat and enviroment...
I messed around her last diarrhea, after the dewormer, and it had some white soft segments on it.
So i'm guessing tapeworms from eating an infected flea? even though she is on flea control ?
We do have ferals nearby so not impossible. I really thought Revolution would prevent this and she isn't...
update: she still is having diarrhea! 8-10 times a day, has lost some weight, is still active, alert and playful but i'm freaking out.
I took some stool samples to the vet for exams BUT i'm brazilian and in a very very small town, what i discovered visiting
all vets and pet shops in town is that...
Also, the house is way more agitated and noisy than my apartament.
Thanks!
We let her explore the house yesterday for the whole night and she looked more relaxed.

I changed it a lot but finally found a combination that works great with her and she hasnt had a issue for two months.
But this time she isnt having soft stool, it is almost liquid. Looks...

She was fine the first 3 days, but is now leaving small puddles of poop multiples times a day in the litter box and has lost her appettite.
I've been keeping her locked in my room, as the family cat doesn't accept others...
So i think we go a solution here! I've found a wet food that works great with her and she haven't had an accident since then!
Not the best quality wet food, but at least the first ingredients are meat and by products (just organs tho! So I'm happy with that) and no grains.
It does have some...
Hi!
She did get a sanitary shave two months ago and it helped a lot, maybe it's time for another one.
She only had kibble with chicken as the main protein source. I may try lamb this month, but idk. The first time she had diarrhea i stopped with her usual food and gave her nothing but cooked...
I adopted a kitten back in march and we have been struggling with soft stools and diarrhea since then.
She has been to the vet multiples times and none of them were of any help.
I asked for some to check her anal glands, they seemed reluctanted to do it, barely looked at them and say they seemed...
