My cat is 4 1/2 year 0ld cat and doing about the same thing...dragging his back leg and moving slowly eating slowly. I took him to the vet. He was extremely anemic. They did not do a blood test though,they treated him as if he was a healthy four-year-old cat and took x-rays, gave him shots...
