Update: We took Twyla to the vet and they said it looked fine. It's not raised and not an irregular shape, so it doesn't seem to be melanoma. The vet said it looked to her like a birthmark because birthmarks on cats can change. She said to keep an eye on it also, so that's what I intend to do.
