Could he go long fur? I do know from the mother cat's owner that one of the mum's cat partners was a "Siamese" belonging to a neighbour. I do have a pictures of some of Link's littermates and he was the only Thai looking ...there was also a tabby kitten not present on the pictures.

I am thinking he has some asian cat race in him... He really isn't a loud talkative cat except if he's on a car...loudest meows i ever heard outta him.
