You should not do it! My mom insisted my cat get dewclawed. Years later she got outside. Got trapped somewhere and couldn't climb out. Was lost for 7 weeks. When she was found she looked like a skeleton. She was never able to recover and sadly passed away. I LOVED that cat. Still hard to talk about.

Then its probably not colitis. As the diet change stopped it. Since its back I have to change her diet again.

It wasnt much blood maybe 1/4 teasoon. I dont see any type of pus and she is acting normally now.

Im trying to figure it out. I bathed her about an hour ago and there is no more bleeding.

The vet said this could be from a uti or from being in heat. I have been doing research and can't get a clear answer because many say that cats dont bleed when in heat but others say that they do

If your cat had pyometra what were the symptoms? My cat has been acting perfectly normal. The vet said that with pyo they act lethargic. Vomiting, etc.

I called the emergency vet and they didn't think it was urgent. Shes acting perfectly fine. Going to see her vet shortly.
