Max is nearly eight months old and still has to climb me to get anywhere! He is getting better though, he was a terror only a few months ago.
Could you get a playmate for Rafe, a kitty his own age that he could spend his energy chasing?
Be persistant. Every time he gets on the table pick him up and put him on the floor, and you must do this every time, and he'll soon learn.
As for food that falls on the floor, I think you're fighting a losing battle there!
My Max (Maxwell when he's being a toad) is nearly 8 months and has always stuck his paw in his water when drinking. He balances it on the surface whilst he drinks, then shakes it off when he's done. I find it incredibly cute, but then he hasn't got to the stage of tipping the bowl over yet...
I'm sure she loves you, but telling a teenager not to do something is like a red rag to a bull. By forbidding her, you're giving her a reason to rebel.

Alfie has done this a couple of times too, he gets really energetic about a toy and leaps around like a loon, then lays down panting. I just leave him to cool off for a while before playing again.
I feed Nutro too, it's the best I've found and both Alfie and Max love it. Whiskas/Go Cat etc have way too many additives in them, and they gave Max awful diarrhea.
Water wise - they both get tap water. Max has actually just decided he wants to drink direct from the tap, so he stands by the...
That's one of the main things I like about it actually, the thought of stairs for the kitties to play on
Blimey, now I'm even deciding where to live based on how much the kitties will like it!
I'll dig out some pictures tonight, such a shame he was around before digital cameras really became the norm or I'd have hundreds of him.
I've been looking at another flat recently, and it's three bedrooms on two floors.......plenty of room for a third kitty
