Its funny to watch but he never does it with food just his water bowl @sivyaleah his bowl is a ceramic kmart serving bowl my cats love it as its wide and their wiskers dont touch the sides

A couple weeks ago i started noticing that my kitten is 'diging' at the ground around his water bowl before he drinks. He stand over the top of the bowl and while looking into the bowl he digs at the ground. What is he doing ?

@Norachan Im happy to say that i sent your post to him and he is willing to give it a go 128522 as to your questions They are a bit scared of him but sometimes theyll be very outgoing and come get pats from him. Ill definitely take them to the vet as im moving towns so theyll have to go anyway...

He doesnt abuse them or hurt them. Its like smacking a kid when they are bad

We have 3 litter trays one for each cat as he has his own kitten. They are filled with recycled paper litter. We tried crystal litter but it was way to messy. Ive tried to make him understand that they dont have the same logic as us and punishment wont work but he is stubborn
