Adopted stray (indoor/outdoor) and he's started marking in the house

Everything was good at the vet. He ended up prescribing some transdermal Prozac. I hope it works, because if it doesn't, he'll have to go back outside full time. :( Wish me luck!

Adopted stray (indoor/outdoor) and he's started marking in the house

He has no idea what to do with one. I've put him in the litter boxes multiple times, but he doesn't care. He isn't actually peeing in the house. He backs up to something and marks it.

Adopted stray (indoor/outdoor) and he's started marking in the house

I don't seem to be able to edit my posts. Oops.. Are there other outdoor cats he didn't get along with? I DONT think so. There are occasional cat fights in the woods, but no idea who they are

Adopted stray (indoor/outdoor) and he's started marking in the house

Yes, they were slowly introduced. In fact, one of the indoors is his favorite playmate! Yes, he was at the vet a couple of weeks ago and was fine. However, we have another vet appointment scheduled for Tuesday. I think so. There are occasional cat fights in the woods, but no idea who they are...

Adopted stray (indoor/outdoor) and he's started marking in the house

We have a number of cats in the neighborhood that we feed and have had fixed. One of them formally adopted us, so we started letting him in. He has recently started marking things in the house, so we've had to put him back outside only. I feel terrible. Things I've tried: * Fully cleaning the...

    18 year old cat meow/yowls a lot

He had his thyroid nuked when he was about 15.  He went through a phase last year where he seemed to be drinking a lot of water, so we took him to have it checked again.  Everything was normal. So maybe he's just crazy?

    18 year old cat meow/yowls a lot

Since you guys helped me so much better last time than any vet/specialist could, I'm starting here... I have an eighteen year old cat who over the last year or so has pretty much gone deaf.  I mention that because it seems that also during that time, he's started meowing/yowling really loudly...

Cat battling eye problems. At my wits end...

Since its liquid, do you just fill and then give quickly before they melt?  I can try that, but he was prescribed .5ml which is quite a bit for a gel cap.

Cat battling eye problems. At my wits end...

So my vet prescribed some Atopica.  That stuff is pretty darn expensive, but if it works... The problem is that its just making him throw up almost immediately.  Any suggestions on that?

Cat battling eye problems. At my wits end...

Can you recommend a steroid that I could talk to my vet about?

Cat battling eye problems. At my wits end...

I *believe* one of the eye drops we were prescribed at one point was a steroid, for what its worth.  I do not believe the dermatologist did an allergy test, as he seemed positive it was a bug. And I really think we can all but eliminate food allergies.  We recently lost a cat that blocked all...

Cat battling eye problems. At my wits end...

Please help.  Our cat occasionally itches around his eye until it bleeds. Background:  The cat is 12 years old.  Around age 4 he was diagnosed with herpes.  When our regular vet couldn't seem to get them under control, he sent us to a eye specialist.  The specialist showed me the outbreaks he...
