CJ is too young for a bald spot!

I was just checking in on your thread and was sorry to read that things have gotten worse. I'm glad you are going to the vet soon. With such an urgent case, the vet should let you come in ASAP. I hope everything is better with CJ soon. That image of you and he napping together was too sweet...

Cat staring at me and blinking slowly.

That sssllllllllooooooowww blink usually signals that your cat is happy, content, and full of love. Many people have learned to communicate with their cats through this blink to say "I love you." Oscar was just telling you how happy he was and how much he loves you.

CJ is too young for a bald spot!

My Binx started getting bald spots when we adopted him, and it scared us so badly! It started on his legs, he got one, then another, then one on his tummy...! They just looked like bare spots...no scab, sore, or anything. From what the vet told us, it was most likely an allergic reaction to...

    Which Ultra-Premium Food?

After looking at the labels on the sample bags, it looks like Innova is the one with garlic in it, NOT Wellness. Even so, I wonder if it's enough that it's even a cause for concern.

gave kittens away. worried about the cat

I agree with maverick_kitten...IF this is an option. 12 weeks is the minimum amount of time a kitten should be with it's mother.

    A less dusty litter

We use Tidy Cats Scoop Crystals Blend. It's not dust free, but definitely better than Fresh Step. The crystals help, I think.

gave kittens away. worried about the cat

It's normal for the mom to wander around looking for the babies for a while. It's sad, but totally natural. Now that she doesn't have little ones to take care of, the milk in her utters should dry up. Once it has dried, please be sure to have her spayed (unless you are a true breeder, which...

    Which Ultra-Premium Food?

Thanks, Juniper, for responding. I've not heard of Cali Natural. I'll have to see if the supply store carries that one so I can compare ingredients. That's interesting about the garlic. I know that any veggie in the onion/garlic family is harmful and poisonous to cats. I'll have to...

    Which Ultra-Premium Food?

Hi all! Now that we live in a city where I actually have stores that offer foods like Innova, Wellness, and Felidae, I'm wondering which of these foods to feed my boys. I'm going by to pick up some samples today, but thought I'd get a public opinion poll going, too. Do any of you feed your...

Found Stray Momma and Kittens: Advice?

I didn't know we could do classifieds. I just submitted one for both kittens. They have been listed on a couple of shelter's sites as courtesy listings for about 2 weeks, now. Haven't heard anything back. I hope these babies find a home.

Found Stray Momma and Kittens: Advice?

Hello, all. A few weeks ago, I found a momma cat and 5 kittens under my house. Since then, I've found homes for 2 of the kittens, 1 kitten has been claimed and is waiting to be taken to its new home, but there are 2 left. The humane foster homes are full and won't take any more cats (I called...
