Thank you. I gave him lots of cuddles before his appointment in the waiting room. He knew he was loved and now he's not suffering ❤️ Its so shit how even doing the right thing hurts. I called him Lazarus before his appointment in the hopes of a miraculous outcome but knew in my gut it wasn't to be.
Unfortunately it wasnt good news. It was a birth defect where his tummy button was too wide they said and allowed for a hernia. He had to be put to sleep as he was too young for surgery and he had the starts of sepsis. I cried the whole way home.

I caught her chewing/yanking very vigorously when doing the cord/placenta. Didn't think much of it at the time as all seemed well. Cleaned up and came to this a couple of hours later wtf is it? Is it a hernia or something?
