Thanks for the replies. I'm mainly just curious how strict they are. I've read some comments before people having bad experiences with pretty much every airline, because their cat is too tall or because the carrier size is too long by an inch...
We have a carrier from Amazon which says airline...
Hello! We are moving to another state in a few weeks. We've already booked a flight with Alaska Airlines. Has anyone traveled with Alaska before and which carrier did you use for an in cabin pet? Thanks!
Cheshire doesn't like dogs either (other than his brother Pavlov). But luckily we didn't come into contact with any dog in the store (we saw two dogs in the distance, he's fine with dogs that keep their distance).
Petco is a great place to socialize them! They have air conditioning so it won't be too hot inside. Maybe you could try going out in a carrier or cat backpack at first to gradually introduce them to the outside.
I have a backpack for Cheshire. I got it from Amazon. Below is a photo of it. But I think he will outgrow it very soon and we might need to look for other ones. What kind of backpack did you get? I heard that The Best Cat Backpack Carriers to Travel With Your Cat has a lot of backpacks, some are...
Here's another photo! We had a nice walk this afternoon.
Cheshire looks a lot like Gypsy! Both are gray tuxedos. I wonder if that's how he will turn out to look when full grown.
I'm curious how big do you think Cheshire will turn out to be? He just turned 16 weeks old in the first photo (taken today). The two other photos were taken a couple days earlier. He is soooo long! And he has really long legs too. The shelter originally told me he would most likely be a small...
Cheshire is a bundle of energy and runs around all day. He is estimated to be about 10 weeks old (just recently rescued from the shelter). He likes to play with my dog who has been extremely patient with him. The thing is, Cheshire sometimes bites while playing (the first two videos). I've been...
So, I posted a few months ago about considering to get an American Shorthair from a breeder. But for a variety of reasons, I ended up deciding to get a rescue kitten from the shelter instead :) I had been browsing shelter websites and visiting shelters for the past months, and last week, I...
Oh wow, that's scary that they attack pets on leashes! 😱 I guess I am very lucky there aren't coyotes in my area. I am thinking it must be very stressful to walk a dog in areas where there are coyotes, or even just walking carrying a bag of groceries from the store.
