    Having Trouble With Outside Cats.

I am overwhelmed by all of the support here, and truly grateful. I just wanted to update that all 8 kitties are in my garage. Some not happy about it, but they are getting better. I have some pictures of some of them. They didn't cooperate with me on the pictures. i am awaiting approval on some...

Thank you. Still going. I wish I could just bring them inside.

    Having Trouble With Outside Cats.

Damn, I had so many replies so fast that I missed some. Thanks for the help. I've been searching google too but came up with different results. All saying they are at capacity and can't help...and that there are way more cats than there are people that want them...and to search within my own...

    Having Trouble With Outside Cats.

I was at first hoping to work with them on a solution, but they don't appreciate what I was trying to do. They seem to avoid all contact with me now. I pulled in my driveway just as the neighbor did, and went through my mail in my truck. She waited until I was finished and inside my house before...

Thanks for the info. I will try every one of them. They are all TNR'd, but most of them are sweet cats, which I think leads them to be comfortable going into neighbors yards. Even when they are outside.

I'm pretty sure they would let me slide. The only infraction I could see is that one of my girls is overweight. I cannot figure out why. I feed 2 cans of wet in If they end up back outside, I will try this. I don't know why I didn't think of this. Years ago my daughter had garden boxes in the...

I'm back at 5 inside. They would just walk in, but Mom really wants out, and is waiting by the door. I've been trying to trap the remaining ones, but their on to me. One of them is a gray tabby named Baby Girl, and I can just pick her up and carry her in.

I own my home (well the bank does for a while yet). It says on my village website that the limit for cats is 3. I have never heard of them enforcing this though, and they probably wouldn't if the cats were well cared for. I would walk away from my house before surrendering my indoor cats.

Smokey Joe is such a cool little guy, he has just one issue. He also gives love bites, and he doesn't know his strength. He doesn't break the skin, but whoever ends up with him needs to be ok with this. I think it's adorable, but I wouldn't want someone to hurt him over it.

Thank you for all the kind words. I know letting them go will be super hard. They each are so unique with their personalities. Even the ones I cant touch breaks my heart thinking about how they'll handle a new environment. One I call Smokey Joe is all gray, not striped. He comes up behind me...

I was going to offer to fence in their garden, or put the soft cat spikes in there, but she recommended just dumping them off in the middle of nowhere. She has no concern for these guys, just wants them gone.

Great idea. I do have my vet in Elkorn that does large animals. I will do that.

Yeah, this morning one got out when I tried to feed them. So now it's 4 inside, 4 outside. I'm gonna keep trying. The two really scared ones are good with being in there, but mom really wants out. She is a sweatheart.

Actually, I want to keep her. She is the sweetest cat I have ever seen. I can't walk outside without her getting trampled under my feet. She gets nervous when I pick her up...but she stays. I have her sister in here(I think). We rescued an approximately 3 week old kitten last spring. The...

Thank you for all of the replies. I knew I would find people that cared here. Sorry, I thought I mentioned that I was in southeastern Wisconsin. About 40 miles southwest of Milwaukee. I didn't think about the catio idea. I did that years ago for a group of very feral cats, mom and five kittens...

    Having Trouble With Outside Cats.

Hi everyone, I am at a loss about what to to. It's killing me. Last summer we had a lot of kittens in my neighborhood. There were two females that had kittens and two random kittens that showed up with no mom. Once I was aware of this, I trapped and spayed/neutered all of them. 13 cats in...
