Kitties turned 4 weeks last Saturday. I went and looked at the kitties today and one was eating the litter and now I'm really nervous. it is non clumping but it doesn't say non toxic.
We are putting up a sign soon. a big one. laminated. we are putting it up beside the road that leads to all the roads around here. we have talked to all the neighbors.
we live in the country and there all the neighbors have outdoor cats without problems. we just had Willie for a month so we didnt get him fixed yet. if someone around here saw a cute cat, I'm sure they'd take it.
Yes we will vaccinate and fix them. We can't have animals in the house for long because of allergies.
We know everyone around here (except for one shady neighbor, but he has outdoor cats himself) and I dont think anyone would steal a cat.
But you think they'd be better off running free than...
Not sure if this fits in this category, but... When my kittens are old enough, the kittens and their mom will be moving outside. We live in the country with VERY little traffic (one car goes down the road approx every hour in the daytime). Every neighbor has several outdoor cats. We do have...
I think kitty #1 (gray), #4 (lighter striped), and #5 (gray runt) are girls, and #2 (orange), #3 (darker striped) are boys. Not sure but that's what it looks like. Orange kitty meows alot :lovecat2:. They all have pot bellies
Also I fixed my typing problem on this site. I went and cleared...
My phone is old and on this thread (or any other long thread) my keyboard changes words into gibberish. It only does it on longer threads, maybe because of cache or something. I'll try to fix that because it takes me forever to type a message on this thread :dunno:
Thanks, I'll go give her...
I just realized Mama wasn't trying to protect the kittens, she was trying to rub her head on my hand when I pet the kittens  (she has always rubbed her head on hands like that, so I'm just assuming, but if you pet her and the kittens at the same time she doesn't mind) Their heads...
I've heard from family that you can touch the kittens as long as Mama cat is ok with it. She seems fine with me touching them with one finger but she does sit beside/over them when I do. I'm assuming that means I shouldn't pet them.
There's now 5 alive kittens, but the newest one is tiny compared to the rest. She just had afterbirth stuff and ate it :paranoid:Do you think she's done after the afterbirth? Or could there be more kittens?
