Thank you all so much for your kind words. I know it was the right thing to do and knowing she is free of her pain is a comfort to me. She started off life as a barn kitten and ended up queen of the house. She will always be my special girl.
She was a very healthy girl until the last 3 yrs or so. We've been treating her for hyperthyroidism and she had a bout of pancreatitis last year. I guess time finally caught up.
I have so many fond memories of her. She was always into something and I can still see the patch where she tried to catch a spider and ended up digging a hole in the drywall.
Thank you for your kind words. I think she had the most dominant personality of any cat we ever had. She was our little miss independent and always had things her way. Even last night she was demanding that I get out of her spot on the bed.
It's been quite awhile since I've posted anything here so I feel a little selfish about posting now. My baby girl, my beloved JC, crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. She was 22 years old. I know that she is free of pain now but my heart is still broken. I had hoped she would pass on her...
One co-worker is asleep on her chair. Another is stalking a bird outside the kitchen window, and the third is getting a belly rub. Typical day at the office :hellocomputer:
Not with a cat but our black lab had one on her tongue. The vet amputated most of her tongue and she recovered with no recurrence of the cancer. She had difficulty eating after that but eventually managed. She was already an old dog and she had about two good years afterwards before we had...
My Max had most of his teeth removed because of tooth resorbtion. I mixed his favorite pate style food with warm water. It was soup consistency that he could easily lick.
The cost seems very high to me. I don't live in that area so maybe that is normal but when Max had tooth resorbtion he had 6 teeth removed , a cleaning, and an overnight stay. It was about $800.
I would check with another vet. The cone seems unnecessary to me for a simple procedure. The last cat i had neutered he only stayed at the vet a few hours afterwards, mostly because he was groggy from the anesthisia and there was no cone or medications recommended. It's been awhile so I don't...
We got so sick of scam calls
that we bought a call screener for our landline. We can white list certain numbers so those calls come through. Most other calls are blocked and the phone won't ring unless it is a white listed number or the caller presses 0. We have not had a scam or a robo call...
Thank you. They are both so sweet. When I'm holding Casey he will turn his face up so I can give him kisses and Mason rolls over for a belly rub.
I love them both already:catlove:
