Pros: Sanitary, Good for UTIs
Cons: Price, Tracking
I have been using this litter for a couple years since my male cats have had crystals and UTIs, this litter has been great. It is a mix of white and blue ultra fine crystals, which would allow me to see any color changes in urine to indicate blood etc. I was previously using corn and wheat and it smells like a barn to me, I did not really care for it. I still use a corn formula for my old lady cat that doesn't have urine problems because she is kept separate, I don't have to smell it so much and the other cats don't use it. The company brings up a good point, with the litters made from plant fiber that harbor more bacteria, which is great risk for UTIs - makes complete sense. I haven't had UTI problems in about a year and a half, also with a controlled diet. Even so I think this is a great litter, it tracks easy though because its almost like sand and it can be dusty - they tell you to poor close to box to prevent dust and this 100% works. You are only supposed to put about 1 - 1 1/2 inch in box because you want to keep their sanitary areas clean, this litter helps with that as well trapping the urine in etc. Also easy to clean, my cats pee in same spot so I do scoop it, but normally you just mix the crystals and change when too soiled.
