Pros: Very well made, heavy weighted, broad base
Molly's cat trees, to me, are the best on the market. I purchased this one pictured here as a second cat tree ( the first one I bought was a Molly, a little smaller version, see my other review here ) and it is worth every penny.
They are extremely well constructed and the base, on ALL her trees, is heavy, broad and weighted, in relationship to the height of the tree. And quality materials.
The most important concern to me, with cat trees, is that the way most of the cat trees out there are built cheaply, they are flimsy and very easily tipped over. And if that happens, not only can your cat get injured but I guarantee that cat will NEVER go near that tree again and you will have an expensive dust collector.
The Molly trees are the only ones I would buy. They are a little more expensive but you will have a tree that will last forever, extremely well made. And I should mention that both my cats have their claws. So far we have had the first one for five years and this taller one for about three years, still going strong.
I was hesitant to buy a cat tree initially because I feared that I would bring it in and my cat would sniff it and walk away, never to use it again. But I was sold when the store I was shopping in said that I could bring it back if she didn't use it and also it was on sale for the holiday.
Boy that was the best decision I made so far.....really worked well and the cats love them.
