Cons: smelly and messy.

This was my third litter-box attempt in 5 months.. cost $95.00 was very hopeful, again HUGE.. ok.. can work with that but it is smelly.. the clumps r stored and makes the whole think stink as they are not properly trapped for odor confinement. Poop sticks to the rake, and gets caught BEHIND the rake.. litter EVERYWHERE! noisy.. have to clean it more than my standard box. Ordered a litter robot.. lets see if thats the one

Yuk, yuk, yuk! It is not self-cleaning, it needs to be cleaned all the time. Clumps stuck in the tines of the rake, clumps too big for the rake to push it into bin, smelly. I bought one when the early model cost $300.00 and it could not be returned and no warranty. I put up with that for 6 months , then went back to scooping and trashed the thing. I have no reason to believe it is any better now as the basic design is still the same although it is much more affordable. Save up your money and get a LitterRobot, even the earliest model is better than this and it won't stink.
Wow good to know- was OK with mine but I don't agree with using clumping litter (pellets now)
Yes the rake cannot touch the bottom but you clean change once a week anyways Yes
doo doo issues once in awhile if anything cats became lazy stopped covering their waste would
jump off and observe watch the raking process everytime they actually urinated more just to do so....
*needed to check machine at least once a day
I thought the same ,
Try to give your cat a home made food , it is a helpful way to stop stinky smells
