Pros: Mostly cageless in several buildings. The cats are well-fed. Adoptable & non-adoptable cats. No one is paid (not even the director). Volunteers help.
Cons: Cats are not admitted if they test positive for Feline Leukemia or FIV. Due to stretched finances, separate facilities can't be built for them.
In spite of a small budget, the cats get plenty of food, a lot of love, and veterinary care when needed. Donations (which are tax-deductible) can be sent to: Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary, P.O. Box 581, Chesterland, OH 44026. The sanctuary is filled to capacity (with more than 80 cats of varying ages, some of whom have physical disabilities).
